Currently, Garry is busy with multiple projects. He is working on his second solo album titled "Long Story Short" with plans to be released sometime in 2008. Unlike the first record Reflections which is one continuous song, this album will be done in a traditional format of separate tracks. Garry is crossing genre lines on this album with songs like "Enter Lude" an eluded tribute to Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", and "Phone Calls", which is a unique compilation of phone message greetings with a strange twist. Check back for more information on this album. Other things in the works is a project that would fall into the Rock genre. With Matt Miller-Novak on bass, Jeff Ratterman on guitar and recently added Dave Nash on lead guitar, the four piece band are currently writing material that has a heavy groove style comparable to progressive bands like Tool, Rush and The Mars Volta. Currently going by the name Blissteria, the band's plans are to find a suitable vocalist , record an album and perform live shows. More info on this project as it progresses. Garry is also involved in another project with pianist Holly Judd. An instrumental duet, the two are writing material for a full length album to be released sometime in 2008. Using a combination of piano, keyboards and drums, Holly and Garry are creating a unique style of ambient music dominated with dark overtones and dynamic melodies. Although it could be be categorized as New Age, this music would be suitable for movie scores and soundtracks. The album will be released on Interwoven Records, and will be available on this web site and select record stores. Photography has always been an interest for Garry, and now he is presenting what he calls "Paint by Numbers", which is art created in a digital format. Specializing in shapes, shadows and textures, Garry uses a digital medium to create his artwork that is uniquely abstract or enhanced. Sometimes creating illusions with objects making them look different than they really appear. Some of this artwork will be shown in galleries, and some will be available as screensaver and calendar-poster art. Check out the Art Gallery page for more info. Garry enjoys playing with various musicians, and continues to play different styles and forms of music, from serious sessions to fun improvisations. All information on releases and artwork will be available on this web site. Check back for more updates.
